ImageThink had a blast this year at IFVP 2013! The annual summit of the International Forum of Visual Practitioners , came to ImageThink’s hometown of New York City to share industry learnings, host informative and hands-on workshops in Graphic Recording, and allow Graphic Recorders and Graphic Facilitators from around the world to spend 4 days celebrating and discussing all things visual.
Nora Herting and Heather Willems, principles of ImageThink, hosted Doctor’s Hours this year at IFVP to connect the the IFVP community to insightful business experts. Featuring the expertise of Networking Coach, Deena Baikowitz of the Fireball Network, Prezi, Evangelist, Zane Groshelle, and Visual Facilitator, Holger Scholz of Kommunikationsloten, ImageThink’s Doctor’s Hours provided one-to-one’s for Graphic Recorders looking to strengthen their business tools. Nora Herting and Heather Willems also lent their own advice to new Graphic Recorders interested in setting up their own successful Graphic Recording businesses.
With a wide array of fantastic graphic recording workshops by so many talented visual thinkers, IFVP was a exciting whirlwind of great content and learnings for all. We especially loved the workshops!
Heather Willems attended a wonderful pre-conference workshop by Bigger Picture. The workshop brought together Graphic Facilitators with 3 to 20 years of experience from around the globe. This rare opportunity allowed for ImageThink to not only share our valuable insights from the world of Graphic Recording, but to also learn from other experts in the field about new processes, materials, tools, and graphic recording tips and tricks. A few of the processes ImageThink learned about during this workshop we soon put into practice the following week, while facilitating a workshop for PepsiCo!
