A platform for connection and advancement

Diversity Alliance for Science (DA4S) is a leading life science organization, providing a platform that connects like-minded diverse corporations and suppliers. DA4S advances equity and inclusion in the life science and healthcare industries by offering an outlet that identifies and promotes small and/or diverse businesses to driver greater socio-economic impact and health outcomes. Holding two conferences a year and dozens of other signature events, DA4S makes it possible for members to connect, grow, and succeed.

To elevate supplier voices, solidify the impact of DA4S members, and amplify the excitement of their event experiences, DA4S was eager to introduce visualization to their members. By ImageThink sponsoring their main events – the East and West Coast Conferences – with graphic recording and social listening murals, DA4S members would experience an entirely new way to connect with one another, and with the life science content of their peers.

Big strides for Life Sci(ences)

In four multi-day events spanning over the last two years, ImageThink joined DA4S’s East and West Coast Conferences. ImageThink visual strategists positioned themselves near the stage to visually translate key ideas from each conference session. As the conference progressed, each board filled with insight on procurement trends, overcoming barriers as a diverse supplier, awards for stellar businesses, and more. The final boards put the impact of diverse suppliers and corporations in the spotlight, built excitement and engagement, and helped attendees absorb more of the content they were experiencing.

Yet, ImageThink’s graphic recording didn’t end there. In the conference hall, ImageThink’s booth featured a social listening mural that asked attendees a targeted question relating back to the conference theme. During session breaks, DA4S members engaged with ImageThink, actively contributing to the discourse happening around the event. This type of engagement fueled excitement within attendees, and provided a focal point in which individuals could connect with us and other members.

Supplier success

Our partnership with DA4S has been so successful, that – in addition to capturing this year’s sessions at their West Coast Conference – they invited ImageThink’s Founder and CEO, Nora Herting to share her success story. Nora joined the stage with Rina Yasuda from Insyght Interactive and spoke of their collaboration in reaching and treating patients with Multiple Myeloma. Not only did DA4S provide the platform that bloomed such an opportunity, but it’s also been an exceptional display of how visuals can foster meaningful connections and ultimately, optimize health outcomes.

From coast to coast, ImageThink’s work has been incredibly well received by DA4S members. Our work sponsoring DA4S’s main events has helped grow the discourse during and after the event (in person and online), and has made visible the impact of diverse suppliers and organizations.
